The Zora Festival gave me a welcome shot of African American Culture and life - just the tonic I needed for the long flight back to Shanghai. Met Pat Broussard and her daughter, and NY Nathiri - the force behind the Festival. I miss you all - and the Africana Village ambiance of the Festival. Thanks to Charon for taking the pictures :)
Spent January 30th in Eatonville and Winter Park the day before returning to China. Charon Luebbers and I visited the Hanibal Square Heritage Center and the beautiful award winning Quilt!!! Mary and Barbara made us very welcome - we're scheming for a return!!
